anyone played arma 3? my brother is into it. still might be in beta though, he was testing the alpha release and loved it.

he reakons its amazing.
its not rip and bust like battlefield. have to take your time and act like its real war.
different servers have different scripts to download for customized things like compasses or guns etc.
to spawn on someone they have to let off a green smoke flare etc so you can not just spawn in the middle of battle etc.
need a descent PC though so that rules me out.

Sounds pretty interesting! Just saw that a dev left Frozen Sand after the main server got hacked, might be the end of the game?

He's not one of the long-time devs but I wouldn't be surprised if this is the start of the end for FS since they were already probably on shaky ground

ahh, he blames don, what a champ.. I've never liked how they react towards their community, they've created the mess that they have themselves..

Yeah I agree totally. It's a shame they got hacked but yeah if they had better attitudes with the community it probably wouldn't have happened

b1naryth1ef has been banned on the UrT forums, and he's claiming they're setting him up as the scapegoat, wow, I don't even know what's going on!
edit: gonna bet it's just like the time they "caught Delirium handing out QA files" when it was someone else >.>
edit2: well it's easy to see what he was so angry about FS hiding, was their cheater tracker list, they wanted to hold onto it so they could prove that more people were, and he wanted them to just out the cheats and prove they had a working Anti-Cheat, haha
edit3: which would have been this post here - http://www.urbanterror.info/forums/topic/31180-gg-42/ - made by someone whom FS already knew they'd caught cheating, and b1nary didn't want to hear all the shit they had to say, curious.. FS behaving like a bunch of children since 1999, lololol

Wow I feel bad for him! Those people are crazy! To be honest it's obvious that at least some of the devs are a bit unstable if you hang out in IRC with them lol we should grab the source and make UrT 5 without them ;)
