Very nice, looks 'accurate' aside from the anime-sized eyes (which is always haunting in photorealistic pictures IMO)

Obviously I can't make the web comic look this way (time consuming as hell), but it sure is a great learning experience!

How long did that take you to draw? There are a lot of good 'how to' videos and guides out there from other artists to speed things up, aside from just practice to get faster.
When do we get to see the first pages of the webcomic? =P

Yeah, I've found a few pretty good ones =)
The longest part for me is actually the outline.
I'm a serious perfectionist by nature, lol, and the only way I'm able to stop myself from niggling away at one line for 20 minutes at a time is to sketch it out by hand first, then trace over it in photoshop.
Even then I get carried away sometimes, haha. Something that'll probably speed up a lot once I get used to precision with the tablet =p
As for the comic part, I'm just excited to be getting Anything done, lol.
